Velour tracksuits are back on every celebrity feed and almost impossible to source as blanks, because velour needs its own cutting direction, its own needle and thread, and a factory that understands nap. Cut it the wrong way and the two legs shade differently.
We manufacture velour tracksuits in 280 to 350 GSM cotton or poly velour, cut with nap in one direction, with rib trims, YKK zips, and options for rhinestone, embroidery and contrast piping. Zip jacket or hoodie top with jogger or flare pant. As a custom velour tracksuit manufacturer, Mike Apparel runs 50-piece minimums, samples every style before bulk and turns production in 2–3 weeks, with your labels sewn in at the factory.
Fabrics we run for tracksuits
We hold these fabrics for tracksuits and knit or weave others to spec. Each has a different hand, drape and shrink profile, and the sample stage exists so you can feel the difference before committing 50 pieces to it. For the velour tracksuit most brands start with Cotton velour 320 GSM and step up to Poly velour 300 GSM when they want shiny, stretchy velour.
| Fabric | Specification | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Cotton velour 320 GSM | 80/20 cotton-poly | soft, matte velour with a cotton hand |
| Poly velour 300 GSM | 92/8 poly-spandex | shiny, stretchy velour |
| Crushed velour 280 GSM | 100% polyester | textured crushed look |
| Heavy velour 350 GSM | cotton-poly | structured velour |
Fit options for tracksuits
Pick a starting silhouette and we adjust from there. Blocks are graded XS to 3XL in US sizing, and size-set samples are available for brands that want to check the whole run. Velour Tracksuit buyers most often specify: zip jacket + flare pant (Y2K).
- Zip jacket + flare pant (Y2K)
- Zip hoodie + jogger
- Cropped zip + high-waist flare (women's)
- Oversized velour set
Velour Tracksuit construction
Our default build for tracksuits. Change any line in the tech pack; the sample confirms it. Start your velour tracksuit tech pack with this line: panels cut with nap in one direction so all pieces shade the same.
- Panels cut with nap in one direction so all pieces shade the same
- Ballpoint needles and stretch thread
- Rib or self-fabric trims
- YKK zips with fabric-covered garage
- Flatlock or overlock seams to avoid nap crushing
Branding the tracksuit
We handle all decoration internally, which keeps lead times at 2–3 weeks and removes the hand-off between a blank supplier and a printer. Options that suit a tracksuit: Velour Tracksuit artwork usually goes on as rhinestone and hotfix crystal logos.
- Rhinestone and hotfix crystal logos
- Embroidery on chest and hip
- Contrast piping
- Tonal garment dye
- Printed woven labels

Your label on every tracksuit
Your brand, not ours, is on the finished tracksuit. We sew in woven neck labels, size tabs and care labels to your artwork, attach hang tags and pack in branded poly bags or boxes. No Mike Apparel branding appears anywhere on the product. Our private label clothing page covers label options and minimums. A typical velour tracksuit run carries a woven main label, printed care label and hang tag; velvet tracksuit programmes often add a woven hem loop.
Custom tracksuit price bands
Pricing for a custom tracksuit is driven by fabric weight, decoration and quantity. The bands below are per set for the constructions on this page at typical spec, and every quote is itemised so you can see exactly what moves the number. At the low end a velour tracksuit in Cotton velour 320 GSM with one placement lands near $34; at the top, Poly velour 300 GSM with multiple placements and full packaging reaches $62.
| Quantity | Price per set (USD) |
|---|---|
| 50–100 sets | $34 – $62 |
| 100–300 sets | $30 – $55 |
| 300–1,000 sets | $27 – $48 |
| 1,000+ sets | $24 – $43 |
Prices are FOB Sialkot; DDP shipping to the USA adds roughly $1.20–$3.50 per set by sea or $3–$7 by air depending on weight and volume. Sampling is charged at 2–3x the bulk unit price and credited back on the bulk order. For a velour tracksuit order of 50 pieces, sampling is billed at roughly $75–$161 and refunded against bulk.

Four to seven days by air to New York, Chicago or anywhere else in the country; worldwide shipping is available on the same terms. More on streetwear manufacturing for USA brands and DDP shipping.
