Mike Apparel is a private label clothing manufacturer for streetwear brands: we cut and sew garments to your design, apply your woven labels, care labels, hang tags and packaging in-house, and ship product that carries only your brand, from 50 pieces per design, in 2–3 weeks, DDP to the USA and worldwide.
Private label is the difference between selling a product and selling someone else’s product with your logo on it. The garment is built to your block, your fabric weight and your construction spec, the labels are woven from your artwork, and the packaging is yours. Nothing on the finished piece says Mike Apparel. This page covers what private label includes, what it costs, the minimums for each component and how it compares to the alternatives. If you are still deciding between routes, private label vs white label lays out the trade-offs.
What private label includes at Mike Apparel
- Your block. Oversized, boxy, drop-shoulder, cropped or regular patterns from our library, adjusted to your reference, or built from your tech pack. Stored under your brand for reorders.
- Your fabric spec. GSM, fibre, brushing, wash and colour chosen for your product, dyed to Pantone with lab dips. Not a catalogue blank.
- Woven main label. Damask or taffeta woven neck label, up to eight colours, folded end, loop or flat, sewn in at the collar or side seam.
- Size and care labels. Woven or printed, in your font, with fibre content and care instructions compliant with US FTC labelling rules.
- Hem, hood and sleeve labels. Woven loop tags and flag labels at the hem, hood or cuff.
- Tagless neck prints. Heat-transfer neck labels for a label-free finish on tees.
- Hang tags. Printed card tags with your artwork, string or plastic tag pin, applied before packing.
- Packaging. Plain or printed poly bags, tissue, stickers, mailer bags and printed boxes.
- Patches and trims. Woven, leather, PVC and rubber patches, custom drawcord tips, zipper pullers and engraved hardware where minimums allow.

Private label vs white label vs blanks
White label is a stock product a factory already makes, relabelled for you; you get a fast, cheap product that ten other brands also sell. Wholesale blanks are white label products sold to decorators; your logo goes on a garment whose fit and fabric are public. Private label is manufactured to your spec, so the fit, weight, wash and construction are exclusive. At 50 pieces the private label premium over a premium wholesale blank is small, and from about 100 pieces private label is usually cheaper. The full comparison with numbers is in cut and sew vs blanks.
Products available as private label
Every product we make is private label by default: t-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, sweatsuits, tracksuits, jackets, beanies and hats. Brands that print or embroider locally can order private label blank tees and blank hoodies with labels sewn in and decoration left to you.
Compliance and labelling rules
Garments sold in the United States need a fibre content label, a country of origin label (“Made in Pakistan”), care instructions and the brand’s identity (name or RN number). We build all four into the care label so your product clears customs and retail compliance without extra work. For the EU and UK we include fibre content in the local language format on request.
Pricing
Label costs are small relative to the garment: a woven damask neck label runs $0.08–$0.20, a woven size and care set $0.10–$0.18, a printed hang tag $0.10–$0.30, a leather patch $0.35–$0.80, a printed poly bag $0.12–$0.25 and a printed mailer box $0.60–$1.80, each per piece at 50–300 units. Neck, size and care labels are included in every quote; the rest is itemised so you can add or remove them. Garment prices are on the category pages and on MOQ, pricing and lead times. The detail on what each label programme includes is in woven labels, hang tags and packaging explained.
Why brands choose Sialkot for private label
Two reasons: the minimum and the integration. Sialkot factories built around export sportswear are used to short runs, so a 50-piece private label order is normal here rather than a favour. And because our label department, wash house, print and embroidery are in the same building as the sewing lines, a private label product is finished as one process instead of being shuttled between a blank supplier, a printer and a labeller. That is what keeps lead times at 2–3 weeks. Read how to find a clothing manufacturer for a small brand for what to check before choosing any factory, and whether low MOQ manufacturing is worth it for the economics.

Frequently asked questions
What is private label clothing?
Clothing manufactured to your specification and sold under your brand, with your labels and packaging, and no reference to the factory. Unlike white label, the product itself is designed for you rather than picked from a catalogue.
Is private label included in the price?
Yes. Woven neck labels, size tabs and care labels are included in every quote. Hang tags, custom poly bags and printed boxes are itemised at cost.
What artwork do you need for labels?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) for woven and printed labels, with Pantone references. We produce label samples with the garment sample so you approve both together.
What are the label minimums?
Woven labels are produced from 50 pieces to match the garment minimum. Custom hang tags from 100, printed boxes from 300.
Can you keep my designs exclusive?
Yes. Your patterns, artwork and label files are stored for your reorders only and never used for another client. NDAs are signed on request.
