The hoodie is where a streetwear brand makes its margin and its reputation, and it is where cheap manufacturing shows first: a hood that collapses, rib that goes slack, fleece that pills after a month. We build hoodies on dedicated oversized, boxy, regular and cropped blocks in fleece we brush and compact to spec, with double-layer hoods, 2×2 spandex rib, bar-tacked pockets and YKK hardware. Mike Apparel manufactures custom pullover hoodies from 300 to 500 GSM brushed fleece or French terry, with a double-layer hood, flat or round drawcord.
Zip-Up Hoodie
We manufacture custom zip-up hoodies with YKK or SBS #5 metal or plastic zippers, a fleece chin guard, zipper garage, split kangaroo pockets and a hoo.
Oversized Hoodie
Mike Apparel manufactures oversized hoodies on a dedicated block with a 6–10 cm shoulder drop, an enlarged hood, a lowered kangaroo pocket and a short.
Heavyweight Hoodie
We manufacture heavyweight hoodies in 400 to 550 GSM brushed cotton fleece with structural reinforcements: a heavier rib with higher spandex, bar-tack.
Cropped Hoodie
Mike Apparel manufactures cropped hoodies on a dedicated block with the hem set at natural waist or above, a proportionally smaller kangaroo or no poc.
Acid Wash Hoodie
We manufacture acid wash hoodies by sewing the hoodie in dyed 350–500 GSM cotton fleece, then washing with potassium permanganate or bleach processes .
French Terry Hoodie
Mike Apparel manufactures French terry hoodies in 300 to 420 GSM loopback cotton terry with a smooth jersey face and looped inside.
Sherpa Lined Hoodie
We manufacture sherpa lined hoodies with a 350–450 GSM fleece or twill outer and a 300–400 GSM polyester sherpa lining through the body and hood, bagg.
Boxy Fit Hoodie
Mike Apparel manufactures boxy fit hoodies on a short, wide block, hem 4–8 cm shorter than a regular hoodie, chest 10–14 cm wider, with a squared drop.

Fleece and terry options
Brushed fleece from 300 to 550 GSM in 100% cotton or 80/20 cotton-poly, three-end and four-end constructions; French terry from 300 to 420 GSM; sherpa and teddy linings; cotton-spandex fleece for fitted crops. 350 GSM is the mainstream US streetwear weight, 400–450 GSM is the premium heavyweight range, and 500+ GSM is for brands that want the heaviest hoodie on the rail. Construction standards
Every hoodie leaves with a double-layer hood (self-fabric, contrast or printed lining), metal or plastic eyelets with flat or round drawcords and custom tips, a kangaroo or split pocket with bar tacks, 2×2 rib cuffs and hem, and a taped neck with your woven label. Zip hoodies use YKK #5 zippers with chin guards and zipper garages. Heavyweight builds get heavier thread and rib. Raglan and set-in sleeve options on every block.
Fits
Oversized (6–10 cm shoulder drop, enlarged hood), boxy (wide chest, short body, deep rib), regular, longline with side slits, cropped and boxy-crop for women’s and unisex lines. Blocks are graded to US sizing so customers buy their normal size. Send a reference hoodie to have the block built from it.
Decoration and washes
Screen print, puff, high-density, DTG and DTF on the body, hood and sleeves; flat, 3D puff and chenille embroidery; woven, leather and PVC patches; acid, stone, mineral, vintage and enzyme washes; garment and pigment dye. Wash-safe hardware is fitted on washed styles. Artwork is checked for placement and scale at the sample stage.
