Polyester tracksuits are where sportswear and streetwear overlap, and the difference between a $30 and a $120 set is fabric weight, panel construction and whether the stripes are printed, inserted or embroidered.
Mike Apparel manufactures polyester tracksuits in 220 to 320 GSM tricot, interlock, scuba or polyester French terry, with inserted or piped side stripes, YKK zips, rib or elastic cuffs and full sublimation options for all-over designs. As a custom polyester tracksuit manufacturer, Mike Apparel runs 50-piece minimums, samples every style before bulk and turns production in 2–3 weeks, with your labels sewn in at the factory.
Fabrics we run for tracksuits
We hold these fabrics for tracksuits and knit or weave others to spec. Each has a different hand, drape and shrink profile, and the sample stage exists so you can feel the difference before committing 50 pieces to it. If you are unsure, sample the polyester tracksuit in Polyester tricot 260 GSM first; it is the construction we recommend for the classic track set.
| Fabric | Specification | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Polyester tricot 260 GSM | 100% polyester, brushed back | the classic track set |
| Polyester interlock 300 GSM | 100% polyester | structured, matte finish |
| Scuba 320 GSM | poly-spandex | sculpted, premium track set |
| Poly-spandex French terry 280 GSM | 95/5 | soft, stretchy track set |
Silhouettes and sizing

What is inside the seams
The stitch, rib, thread and hardware choices below are what separate a factory tracksuit from a promotional blank. All are standard on our runs. Start your polyester tracksuit tech pack with this line: inserted side stripes (sewn-in, not printed) or piping.

Printing, embroidery and finishing
Print, embroidery and wash are done in-house, so the tracksuit and its decoration ship as one finished product with one point of responsibility. For polyester tracksuit decoration, full sublimation printing for all-over designs leads, followed by embroidery on chest, back and thigh.

Labels, tags and packaging
Every tracksuit leaves the factory fully branded as your product: woven main label, woven or printed size and care labels, hem tags or hood labels, hang tags with your artwork, and packaging from plain poly bags to printed mailer boxes. Labels are produced in-house from your files. Details on our private label clothing page. A typical polyester tracksuit run carries a woven main label, printed care label and hang tag; sublimated tracksuit programmes often add a woven hem loop.
Polyester Tracksuit pricing by quantity
Pricing for a custom tracksuit is driven by fabric weight, decoration and quantity. The bands below are per set for the constructions on this page at typical spec, and every quote is itemised so you can see exactly what moves the number. At the low end a polyester tracksuit in Polyester tricot 260 GSM with one placement lands near $24; at the top, Polyester interlock 300 GSM with multiple placements and full packaging reaches $46.
| Quantity | Price per set (USD) |
|---|---|
| 50–100 sets | $24 – $46 |

| 300–1,000 sets | $18.72 – $36 |

Frequently asked questions
Can you sublimate an entire tracksuit?
Yes. White polyester is sublimated panel by panel before sewing, so all-over prints and gradients align at the seams. Sublimation has no colour limit.
Are the side stripes printed or sewn?
Sewn-in stripes are the premium method: a separate fabric strip inserted into the side seam. Piping is a narrower cord version. Printed stripes are cheapest and used on sublimated sets.
Does polyester tracksuit fabric pill?
Tricot and interlock resist pilling well. Brushed-back tricot can fuzz slightly on the inside after heavy wear, which is not visible.
What is the MOQ for polyester tracksuits?
50 sets per design. Sublimated designs have no colour minimum within the 50.
