Fleece is the fabric most brands think they know and the one with the most variables: brushed depth, yarn count, cotton ratio, three-end versus two-end knit. Two 350 GSM fleeces can feel completely different.
Mike Apparel manufactures fleece sweatsuits in brushed cotton or cotton-poly fleece from 320 to 500 GSM, with the brushing depth, yarn and blend chosen to your target hand feel. Sets are cut and dyed together and finished with matching rib. For brands searching for a custom fleece sweatsuit manufacturer that treats a 50-piece order like a real order, Mike Apparel samples first, produces in 2–3 weeks and delivers duties-paid.
Choosing the cloth for a custom sweatsuit
Every sweatsuit programme starts with a swatch card. These are the constructions we recommend for sweatsuits; any of them can be dyed to Pantone and most can be washed or garment-dyed after sewing. If you are unsure, sample the fleece sweatsuit in 320 GSM 3-end fleece first; it is the construction we recommend for soft, light fleece set.
| Fabric | Specification | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 320 GSM 3-end fleece | 80/20 cotton-poly | soft, light fleece set |
| 350 GSM 3-end fleece | 80/20 or 100% cotton | the mainstream fleece set |
| 400 GSM 3-end fleece | 100% cotton | heavyweight fleece set |
| 450 GSM 4-end fleece | 100% cotton | ultra-heavy, dense nap |

Fleece Sweatsuit construction
Our default build for sweatsuits. Change any line in the tech pack; the sample confirms it. On a fleece sweatsuit the detail buyers notice first is the fleece brushed to spec: light peach, medium nap or deep brushed.

- Anti-pill finish on cotton-poly fleece
- Matching rib with spandex for recovery
- Joggers with elastic + drawcord waist and side pockets

Printing, embroidery and finishing
Print, embroidery and wash are done in-house, so the sweatsuit and its decoration ship as one finished product with one point of responsibility. On a fleece sweatsuit the most common request is embroidery on chest and thigh.
- Embroidery on chest and thigh
- Screen prints
- Garment dye
- Enzyme wash for extra softness
- Contrast rib

Your label on every sweatsuit
Every sweatsuit leaves the factory fully branded as your product: woven main label, woven or printed size and care labels, hem tags or hood labels, hang tags with your artwork, and packaging from plain poly bags to printed mailer boxes. Labels are produced in-house from your files. Details on our private label clothing page. For fleece sweatsuit orders we recommend a woven neck label plus a printed care label as the minimum; hang tags and fleece hoodie and pants packaging are added at your choice.

Made for US brands, shipped worldwide
Most of our sweatsuit production ships to the United States, DDP, meaning duties, taxes and customs clearance are paid by us and included in the quote. Air freight lands in Las Vegas or Atlanta in four to seven days after the run ships; sea freight takes four to five weeks and costs less for larger orders. We also ship to the UK, Canada, Australia, the EU and the UAE. See streetwear manufacturing for USA brands and our DDP shipping page. A 50-piece fleece sweatsuit order fits in a few cartons and clears US customs as one DDP consignment with a single commercial invoice.
Frequently asked questions
What does 3-end fleece mean?
Three-end fleece is knitted with three yarns, giving a denser, heavier, more premium fabric than two-end fleece. All our 350 GSM and heavier fleece is three-end or four-end.
Cotton or cotton-poly for a fleece set?
80/20 cotton-poly is softer, pills less and shrinks less; 100% cotton is heavier, dyes deeper and has a more premium hand. Most brands run 80/20 for core sets and 100% cotton for heavyweight drops.
Does fleece pill?
Brushed fleece can pill with wear. We use combed yarn and an anti-pill finish on blends, and heavier brushing on cotton to reduce it.
What is the price of a custom fleece sweatsuit?
$26 to $50 per set at 50–100 units depending on GSM and embellishment.
