Custom Bucket Hat Manufacturer

Bucket hats are all brim and crown proportion. A brim that is too wide flops; too narrow and it reads as a sun hat. The crown depth and brim width have to be drafted together, then the fabric weight has to support them.

Mike Apparel manufactures custom bucket hats in cotton twill, canvas, corduroy, denim, terry, nylon and fleece with 5–7 cm brims, topstitched brim lines, sewn eyelets, and reversible, all-over-print and lined constructions. Fabric options for custom hats

Fabric decides most of what a customer feels, so we quote every custom hat against a specific cloth rather than a vague ‘premium cotton’. The options below are stocked or knitted to order in Sialkot; lab dips and hand-feel swatches ship before sampling. For the bucket hat most brands start with Cotton twill 280 GSM and step up to Cotton canvas 320 GSM when they want structured bucket.

The silhouette options we run for hats are listed below. Any of them can be adjusted to a reference garment you send us, and we grade to US sizing as standard. For a bucket hat, we usually sample the standard bucket, 6 cm brim first and adjust from there.

Construction details

Embellishment and wash

Every embellishment listed here is produced in our own print, embroidery and wash departments in Sialkot. Panels are decorated before assembly where placement demands it. Bucket Hat artwork usually goes on as front embroidery on the crown.

Private label hats

Your brand, not ours, is on the finished hat. We sew in woven neck labels, size tabs and care labels to your artwork, attach hang tags and pack in branded poly bags or boxes. No Mike Apparel branding appears anywhere on the product. Our private label clothing page covers label options and minimums. For bucket hat orders we recommend a woven neck label plus a printed care label as the minimum; hang tags and reversible bucket packaging are added at your choice.

Pricing: custom hats

What a custom hat costs depends on the cloth, how much decoration it carries and how many you order. These are representative per-piece ranges for the options above; your quote lists fabric, trims, decoration, labels and packaging separately. For reference, a bucket hat run of 50 pieces in Cotton twill 280 GSM with one embroidery and private labels sits close to the middle of the first band.

Prices are FOB Sialkot; DDP shipping to the USA adds roughly $1.20–$3.50 per piece by sea or $3–$7 by air depending on weight and volume. Sampling is charged at 2–3x the bulk unit price and credited back on the bulk order. Bucket Hat reorders skip the sample fee entirely and are priced at the band of the total quantity ordered to date.

Bucket Hat production timeline

From brief to delivered hats, this is the sequence and the timing. Total time from first enquiry to goods at your door is usually five to six weeks including sampling. For a bucket hat the sample stage is where interfaced crown for shape is confirmed on a real garment.

Delivery to the USA and beyond

Most of our hat production ships to the United States, DDP, meaning duties, taxes and customs clearance are paid by us and included in the quote. Air freight lands in Los Angeles or Miami in four to seven days after the run ships; sea freight takes four to five weeks and costs less for larger orders.
